Between the sky and the asphalt
-Barcelona-
The number of images that make up this collection of photographs of the Urban Landscape of Barcelona corresponds to the number of moras in a Haiku: exactly 17.
In order to be true to the essence of haiku —in terms of the primacy of the noun over the adjectiv (barely used) — in this collection the disturbing details of the Landscape have been deliberately destroyed —those that have been recorded by the photographic negative — by placing a textured paper in contact with the sensitive paper during the enlargement process. In this way we manage to show the essence, the poetry!!!
The photographs have been enlarged on handmade paper from the Capellades Paper Mill Museum printed with a photosensitive liquid emulsion of silver chlorine-bromide gelatin. The author of the capture of the images has also been the architect of their enlargement.
