Between the sky and the asphalt

Due to the success of the Barcelona collection and the desire to limit its number of images to 17, this series of photographs, where some elements of Gaudí’s work are shown, was born. In this way we were able to satisfy the desire to expand the series “Entre el cel I l’asfalt” (Between the sky and the asphalt) remaining faithful to its essence, that is to say: keeping the same format (vertical panoramic) and aesthetics but with a different technique and materials.

The essence, however, continues to obey the same aesthetic will — understanding this in the most philosophical and spiritual sense. Just take a look at the Japanese culture of sumi-e and haiku.

The images in this collection of Photography of Gaudi ‘s work are digital reproductions on Hahnemühle Photo Matt Fiber 200 grs paper . printed with high quality pigmented inks from originals chemically processed by the author on sensitive photographic paper already discontinued: the fantastic Agfa MCC 118.
